Last pics of mine from the asylum. Loved the multicoloured walls, the postcards with happy thoughts, the melancholic evening sun and the long, quiet corridors. I wish we'll find many mental asylums to explore in future, too!

Some more pictures from the weekend trip! I hope you don't get bored with the massive amount of pictures from the same place but this asylum was something we both were sooo excited about.

When we were hitch hiking to the village where the place was, the driver told us stories about the patients of the hospital. One of them was a man who used to wear just one color at the time. He couldn't deviate from the form even a little. So he had to paint his shoes with the same color that his clothes were every time when he changed the color.

Then there was another man that used to hang out in libraries. He was very strict about that the books in the shelves were in the order and line and he used a lot of time to organize them. He couldn't stand the thought of people seeing his face. That's why he carried a paper bag with him and raised it in front of his face if someone tried to look at him. He also used to run around the library shelves when the school kids were bullying him and trying to look him in the eye. It was an endless hunt, said the driver. I wonder where these people are now. Hopefully they are alive and okay.
