Coastline ruin, Sesimbra, Portugal
Visited 18.5.2014 by jonahi. This traditional Portuguese house built with natural stones was clearly abandoned decades ago. Today it is laying silent under the burning sun, watching the Atlantic ocean painting the landscape perfect and blurring the horizon. There was a strange text on the wall painted with blue letters. It wasn't Portuguese language, but seemed like a name of a person to me. Other than that, the ruin didn't have many signs of its glory days left; mainly shelves, doors and window holes. In the last photo there are cute eaves on top of the door reminding me somehow of an old lady wearing a scarf on her head and a pinny on top of her skirt, peeking from the door to check the weather in the morning.
