Grandma's yellow house (Part 1), Mellilä, Finland
Visited 14.10.2012 by jonahi & skkye. The day was turning into the night and the light was perfect for photographing. That is why I love all the outside photos in this post - they are somehow so postcard-like. The door to this house was behind the jungle of bushes, I got many scratches when I was snaking through it to the entrance. The best things inside were an old letter from old ladys sister, an odd framed picture of a girl with cows, a decayed fireplace and a bridal veil. I also liked the attic with its here and there hanging clothes and rusty tea jars. I think that the place was abandoned in the eighties (concluding from dates in the newspapers and other stuff).
